This place is a hidden gem. Heading back from a Cape Canaveral cruise, we stopped here for lunch about 1.5 hrs from home - Augusta. Glad we waited until Statesboro. We ordered the 1/2 chicken combo plate & 1/4 lb brisket combo plate. Combo came with 2 sides & 1 drink. Plus 20% tip at the counter, it came to 30 & change. Large portions, we couldn’t finish it. The chicken & brisket were very tasty & smoky with still some chew. Sides were pretty good. The Brunswick stew was thick made will pulled pork. 3 homemade BBQ sauces - sweet, spicy, gold - mustard. We liked the gold sauce. Counter attendant was very friendly & responsive. They also have smoked chicken wings for 1 each, but were sold out. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

Our favorite place in Statesboro, best brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, sausage, mac and cheese and kicking brunswick stew. If you are lucky, they have a chocolate delight that is amazing when it's available. Get there early if you want your favorites!

Delicious. Good prices. Friendly service. Clean, spacious atmosphere. Best Mac n cheese I think I’ve ever tasted. Loaded potato salad is great. BBQ and sauces are good and tasty.

We were driving on the interstate and my wife wanted BBQ, so we decided to try it. I'm glad that we did, it was really good. When we pulled up I couldn't tell if they were open at first. They have a sign but it is difficult to see in the sun. We went in and were greeted before we got through the door. The place was clean and the employees were friendly. I ordered the larg pulled pork sandwich and beans. I can eat a lot but couldn't finish it all. The pork was cooked properly and it had a nice bark on it. My wife had the brisket with green beans and potato salad. I didn't try the sides but the brisket tasted great. It wasn't quite as tender as I hoped, but it was still very tender and juicy. I really enjoyed meeting the owners and seeing their smoker setup. They are truly wonderful people to talk to. I've already added this smokehouse to my list of favorites and will absolutely be back!!

Some of the best brisket ever! Every meat and side was delicious. Great service! Very friendly. Wonderful little bbq diner with indoor or screened in outdoor seating. Excellent!!

This is a great place to eat. The pork bbq was excellent. The bbq baked potato was also great. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick. We will be back!

Absolutely loved Hopeulikeit BBQ and Market. I have been back several times and have tried their Brisket (Excellent) the Burnt Ends (Mouth watering in a good way) the pulled pork (very delicious) The potato salad, Mac and cheese, and Brunswick Stew are all equally delicious as well. Highly recommend going to Hopeulikeit BBQ and Market if you want some good food!!

I’ve tried a lot of bbq places but this is by far the best. The Mac & cheese was so delicious. I had the chicken also very good. My husband had the pulled pork. Everything was good. Very nice people working. I will return, I definitely need more mac & cheese.
